Finally! Marvel comes through for the little guys!!!

I found this right before my son's 4th birthday and was so stoked! He loves it and we have found 3-4 cool little suprise features since we bought it. I started buying him the Imaginext DC figures this year and these guys are the same size so it is a perfect addition. Really great set already put together with stickers and everything. Just open it up and start playing, it is great! Any kid 6 and under will love this if they are a Spidey fan, comes with a nice little book too. We bought all the other figures as well which have real fabric capes (Dr Doom and Thor). This toy line rocks!

The amazing, er...good enough, super hero HQ!

In a house with way too many toys, this is one that stands out. I introduced superheroes to my kids (perhaps a little early) and my 4 yo son is obsessed. It's hard to even get him to wear a shirt that doesn't have a superhero on it. Anyway, I since I've gotten my daughter countless dollhouses, I tried hard to find something comparable for my son's action figures. With the recent push of Marvel/DC movies and their subsequent mass action figure production, I was still amazed at how hard it was to find a superhero headquarters.
Although this isn't perfect, it suits his needs. This little structure fits most of his mini figures, like superhero squad characters, but not the regular sized action figures. For him, it's close enough. It opens/closes and has enough movable parts to keep him and his imagination busy.
It comes with Spidey and Green Goblin but he uses many of his existing action figures as well. As expected, the hard plastic is relatively durable and my 2 yo son is always trying to play with this. The car looks worthless to me but the kids enjoy it as well. The bonus is that I didn't even have to put it together since it came fully assembled.
I keep comparing this with one of my daughter's comparably-priced Barbie houses. This is just lacking in size and features. A small Barbie house would have 4-5 rooms with furniture, each with a purpose. I would have liked to see something like a jail and a command center for the good guys and a mad scientist lab and prisoner cell for the bad guys. Instead we just have a bed and some open "free" play areas.
Don't hesitate to buy this for your Marvel/DC fan! It could be a lot better but for the price of a video game, this piece of portable plastic will last much longer and inspire more creative play.

Perfect for the young super hero fans

My son was in heaven once he unwrapped this gift. He has had a thing for Spidey for about a year so this was on his wish list right away. I want to say Thank You Amazon for putting this in the Cyber Monday sales because it was a great deal.

I love this because it came assembled.
I love this because it contains furniture that is built in (no tiny pieces to lose or for Mom & Dad to step on or vacuum up by mistake)
I love this most because my son has played with this every single day since he got it. I don't see the attraction fading anytime soon.

Points for durability because it is sturdy plastic, the furniture is attached & the movable parts can withstand my 4 year old's active play.
Points for educational value because of the unlimited ways he can use his imagination to play with this. Currently it is home to Spidey & Olivia the pig and Olivia's house-slash-pirate ship (another gift - not as little kid friendly with lots of little tiny pieces) is Grandma's house. It doesn't matter that he isn't playing with it in a super hero scenario - he is having FUN!
Overall I have to say it is bound to be a favorite if you have a young super hero fan that is really into imaginary play.
